Queensland Transfer Duty changes commence 1 August 2011

From 1 August 2011 changes to transfer duty in Queensland will occur. There will be adjustements to the full duty rates and an increase in the concessions available to first home buyers. The biggest changes are the abolition of concessions for home buyers who are not first home buyers and the introduction of a building boost payment of up to $10,000.
